POSTDOCTORAL STUDIES

Dr. Tomfohr-Madsen and Dr. Gerry Geisbrecht are recruiting a postdoctoral student to work in the area of Developmental Origins of Health and Disease (DOHaD). GRADUATE STUDIES

Dr. Tomfohr-Madsen will be interviewing clinical psychology students to begin in the 2019/2020 academic school year. Potential areas of research for incoming students will include: interventions to improve the health of children and families, socioeconomic health disparities in pregnancy and childhood, and paternal mental health.

VOLUNTEERING IN THE LAB

Thank you for your interest in joining our lab! We are not currently accepting Lab Volunteer applications, but may again in the winter of 2019. 

The Healthy Families Lab will accept Lab Volunteer applications from excellent undergraduate and graduate students with an interest in clinical health psychology and research.

Undergraduate students who are interested in gaining course credit while getting research experience in our lab are encouraged to enroll in PSYC 499 (1.5 HCE; the prerequisites for PSYC 499 only are PSYC 312, 3.0 full-course equivalents in Psychology, and being a student in the Psychology program). PSYC 499 or its prerequisites are not required to volunteer in our lab.

The time commitment for a volunteer position is approximately 5 hours per week (6 hours per week for PSYC 499 students).
