Featured Article: Maternal depressive and anxiety symptoms before and during the COVID-19 pandemic in Canada

April 23, 2021

A study from the University of Calgary found that levels of anxiety and depression symptoms have almost doubled since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic. To prevent future increases in maternal psychological distress, key priorities include financial support, childcare provision, and avoiding the closure of schools.
